According to Aristotle, “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.”
My life is no different from yours. There are days, there are people, there are circumstances that pull me down.
I admit I have failed many times as a person. But that only means I am living my life more completely. I am consciously allowing myself to fail and learn from my past mistakes and rise to a whole new level of consciousness. Every adverse situation toughens me from within and gives me wisdom to live a better life.
If you really zoom out and look at our lives, we are just a tiny dot on the canvas of infinity. This broader perspective helps me get out of my situations and focus on what I can give the world.
I thank god for this ability to let go of the mental clutter and live a more fulfilling life by focusing on doing what I love. By doing so, I enter a phase of neutrality where good bad, beautiful ugly, moral immoral, right wrong, do not exist. What exists is the higher purpose of doing things that really matter. In those moments of doing, I let go of myself. “What I am actually saying is that we need to be willing to let our intuition guide us, and then be willing to follow that guidance directly and fiercely” ~ Shakti Gawain
All I understand of happiness is “Happiness is not a destination, it’s a journey.”
Do let me know what happiness means to you?
