Hope you’re doing good.
This post is mainly to urge you to think about the loss of our beloved state Odisha, and join us in an attempt to rebuild it.
As you all know, Odisha went through a great havoc called ‘Cyclone Fani’ in the month of May this year, leading to massive loss to state and its people. It originated from a tropical depression that formed west of Sumatra in the Indian Ocean on 26th of April and reached its peak intensity on 2nd of May as a high-end extremely severe cyclonic storm—the equivalent of a high-end Category 4 major hurricane. While around a million people were evacuated from the danger areas, several were killed, and the state itself suffered losses in several crores.
‘Art for Odisha’ is a humble initiative taken by Metaspace Studio in collaboration with AIFACS and Artists from all over India to show love and support for the beloved state in an attempt to rebuild it.
The show is curated by Biswajit Panda, and the exhibition is scheduled to take place in three cities; Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore. The first phase of exhibition is currently taking place in Delhi,
