Namaste, a very beautiful welcome to Miraya Yoga with me, Ana.
As a certified Yoga Teacher, my aim is to propagate the authentic teachings of Sivananda Yoga System. I wish to spread this experience of peace, good health and overall well being while preserving the tradition and its purity.
Under the guidance & blessings of Sw Vishnudevananda and all my Teachers who have enabled me to teach Yoga, I’ve set out on this path of spreading the joy of Yoga. Om Sri Gurubhyo Namah, my heartfelt pranams to all my Gurus.
Sw Vishnudevananda synthesised the four paths of yoga into five basic principles that can be easily incorporated into our daily lives providing the foundation for a healthy living.

Open Sivananda Yoga Class happens twice a week. Before you begin with the Open Class, it is recommended that you do the Beginner’s Course. A small course designed over 4 classes of 90 mins each gives you an overview of Yoga’s aim and philosophy. It helps you understand the powerful sequence of the traditional 90 minute yoga class, that includes Pranayama, Sun Salutation, the 12 Classic Basic Postures and deep Relaxation. It also explains various benefits that the regular practice brings along.
